Hey, I'm Jose Ponce, a 20-year-old photographer based in El Paso, TX.
Since I was old enough to hold a camera, I’ve been hooked on capturing what moments feel like — not just what they look like. I see every session as a chance to turn real life into something cinematic.
No two shoots are ever the same. I take the time to really get to know the people I’m working with so I can shape the session around them. Whether it’s a graduation, a couple in love, a quince, or something totally out-of-the-box — I’m all about making it personal, creative, and real.

STEP 01
Review Form
Once I’ve looked everything over, I’ll reach out with availability, collection information, and any questions I may have to help guide you in the right direction.
STEP 02
Session Reservation
When you’re ready to move forward, your date will be reserved with a signed contract and retainer. This confirms your session on my calendar.
STEP 03
Pre-session Planning
After booking, I’ll send over a guide personalized to your session type. We’ll also plan out the fun details together through FaceTime, a phone call, or in person. Whether you need outfit inspiration, location ideas, timeline help, or just a little reassurance, I’ll guide you through it so you feel comfortable and ready before your session!
STEP 04
Session Day
On the day of your session, you don’t have to worry about knowing how to pose or what to do next. You’ll be guided by me and my assistant, who also brings experience as a professional model, so you’ll have help with posing, movement, and all the little details that make photos feel natural. The goal is for you to feel comfortable, confident, and fully like yourself.
STEP 05
Curating
Within 1-4 business days after your session, you’ll receive an online curating gallery with the best images from your session. This gallery is designed to make choosing your final photos simple, and I’ll also include tips to help you select your favorites.
STEP 06
Submitting favorites
Once you submit your favorites, your images are placed into my editing queue. Turnaround can vary depending on the season, but I’ll always be clear with you about where your gallery stands and what to expect.
STEP 07
Gallery Delivery
Your selected images will be fully edited, retouched, and delivered in a private online gallery with your print release. Inside your gallery, you’ll also have access to professional printing options and a 10% discount code for prints.
FAQ
What if I’ve never done a photoshoot before?
You’re not alone. Most of my clients aren’t models—but they still end up looking like they belong on a poster. I’ve got you the whole way through. I’ll guide you during the session so you feel confident and relaxed, and I’ll also send some prep materials beforehand to help you learn simple posing and get comfortable before we even start.
Can I customize a photography package to fit all my needs?
Yes! Most of my packages are designed as starting points. Every session is built around you—your story, your vision, and what matters most. We’ll talk through everything and shape the experience so it fits exactly what you need.
Do you travel for photoshoots outside of El Paso?
Definitely. I’m always open to traveling for sessions. Whether it’s a city a few hours away or a destination you’ve always dreamed of, I’d love to create something meaningful with you. Travel fees may apply depending on distance, but we’ll go over all of that ahead of time.
How long does it take to receive the final photos?
Turnaround times depend on the session type and time of year—some seasons get super busy. For regular sessions, galleries are typically delivered within 1–2 weeks. For weddings and quinceañeras, it can take anywhere from 2 to 8 Months, depending on the complexity and editing load. Select packages also include sneak peeks within a few days, so you get a little taste early on.
